Ingredients
3 15 oz cans of french green beans (drained)
Soup:
8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
1 T unsalted butter
1 T minced garlic
1.5 T flour
3/4 c. chicken broth
3/4 c. half n half
Topping:
1 c. bread crumbs
1 T unsalted butter
1 can french fried onions
1/8 tsp salt
1/16 tsp pepper
Preparation
Saute mushrooms 1 T butter and garlic until tender. Add flour and saute for 1 minute Add chicken broth to simmer Add half n half to simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir in beans
Preheat oven 425 degrees. Bake soup/bean mixture for 10 minutes. Add topping and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
