Ingredients

2 cans french-style green beans

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/2 c. milk

1 t. soy sauce

dash of black pepper

1 can of sliced water chestnuts (optional)

sm can Durkee french fried onion rings

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except canned onion rings in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with onion rings. Heat until onions are warmed through, about 5 more minutes.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Sometimes I add a can of bean sprouts and a can of green beans instead of 2 cans of green beans.

Some people stir half the onions in with the rest of the ingredients and save the rest for the top.
