Ingredients

1 lb. fresh green beans (whole)

1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms (halved & sliced)

1 small onion (sliced thin)

5 gloves fresh garlic ( crushed & chopped)

1/2 tsp. fresh ginger (minced)

1 cu. whole almonds (sliced thin)

3 tbsp. olive oil

1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp. flour

pinch of basil

pinch of rosemary

cracked black pepper

sea salt

olive oil

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in pan, & saute garlic, & ginger for 2 mins. Add onion & saute until onion is softened.
  2. Add mushrooms & almonds. Saute until mushrooms are cooked through.
  3. move to side for later use.
  4. Add 1/2 cu. water to same pan, & steam green beans, covered, till crisp-tender. Move to side with 1st ingredients.
  5. Whisk flour into pan, scraping up bits. (Add a little more water if nessesary) Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Return sauted veggies to pan, adding salt, pepper, basil, & rosemary.
  7. Cook till mixture is thicked & bubbly.
