Ingredients

1 pound flank or sirloin steak

Slice steak thinly across the grain.

2 T vegetable oil

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat; brown beef on both sides, remove from pan.

1 medium onion, sliced

1 garlic clove, minced

Saute onion and garlic in drippings until soft; drain off fat.

1 28 ounce can stewed tomatos

2 T lemon juice

1/4 tsp cumin

1/8 tsp cinnamon

Stir in next four ingredients, bring to boil. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

1 T cornstarch

1 T water

Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into pan and cook until thickened. Stir in beef and heat through.

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Serve over rice, sprinkle with cheese.
