Ingredients

1 cup olive oil

1 chopped onion

1 clove mashed garlic

3 cups chopped plum tomatoes

1 cup vegetable broth

1 bayleaf

1 tsp. dried thyme

1 tsp. dried oregano

1/2 tsp. sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

1 lb cooked pasta, drained

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan.
  2. Saute onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Pour in tomatoes and broth.
  4. Once it boils, lower heat.
  5. Add spices and simmer 30 minutes until sauce is thick.
  6. Pour sauce over pasta.
