Ingredients
1 cup olive oil
1 chopped onion
1 clove mashed garlic
3 cups chopped plum tomatoes
1 cup vegetable broth
1 bayleaf
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb cooked pasta, drained
Preparation
- Heat oil in a large saucepan.
- Saute onions and garlic until translucent.
- Pour in tomatoes and broth.
- Once it boils, lower heat.
- Add spices and simmer 30 minutes until sauce is thick.
- Pour sauce over pasta.
