Ingredients

CHOCOLATE PIE SHELL

1 c. Bisquick baking mix

1/4 c. cocoa

2 tbls. sugar

1/4 c. butter, softened

3 tbls. boiling water

FILLING

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

1/3 c. cold water

1 c. whipping cream, chilled

8 oz. can vanilla pudding

1/4 c. white creme de cocoa

1/4 c. creme de menthe

chocolate curls for garnish

green food coloring, optional

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

PIE SHELL

  1. Combine baking mix, cocoa, butter and sugar in a small bowl. Add water and stir vigorously until dough forms a ball and cleans the bowl. (Dough will be puffy & soft.)

  2. Pat dough into lightly floured 9" pie pan. Bake 8 - 10 minutes. Cool.

FILLING:

  1. Sprinkle gelatin on water in a small saucepan to soften. Stir over very low heat until gelatin is dissolved.

  2. In a chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff.

  3. Blend pudding & liqueurs into whipped cream. Fold in gelatin and, if desired, green food coloring.

  4. Pour mixture into pie shell. Chill at least 4 hours, or until set. Just before service, garnish with chocolate curls.
