Ingredients

2 C. oats

2 C. flax seed

1 C. sunflower seeds

1 C. unsweetened coconut

1 C. wheat germ

Preparation

Mix the above ingredients together. Heat 1/2 C. light tasting olive oil; 1 C. honey and salt until mixed well and hot. Pour over dry ingredients and mix. Put into a lightly greased cake pan or cookie sheet about 1/2" deep.

Preheat over 250; bake 15-20 min. stirring twice Or 30-45 min. stirring 4 times. If you want it crisper, bake longer.

When cooled: Mix in almonds, peanuts, walnuts, buckwheat groats, bran raisins, dates, other dried fruit you may have on hand.
