Ingredients

2 C rolled oats

3/4 C wheat germ

3/4 C sunflower or pumpkin seeds

1 C Kashi puffed rice cereal

1 C slivered almonds

1/2 C brown sugar

2 T butter

1/2 C honey

2 t vanilla

1/2 t salt

2 T flax seed

mini chocolate chips, toasted coconut opt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400F. Mix oats, wheat germ, seeds, almonds & toast in oven for 5 min, add coconut & toast another 5 min stirring often.

Melt butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla & salt in microwave.

In a large bowl combine dry ingredients (including flax seed) with chocolate, then stir in wet ingredients. Stir well.

Press firmly into jelly roll pan lined with wax paper sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cut after a few hours.
