Ingredients

4 eggs

2 C sugar

1 1/4 oil

3 C flour

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 package of Poppy Seeds

1 large can Pet or Carnation Evaporated Milk

Preparation

Beat eggs together then add the sugar and beat well. Add the oil beating to incorporate. Add only 2 cups of the flour (saving the 3rd cup for later), baking soda and salt and mix well. Add the package of poppy seeds and evaporated milk. Beat well. Finally add 1 cup of flour and beat until creamy. Pour into an ungreased Bundt pan and bake at 350’ for 1 hour or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on rack for 15 minutes then turn out of pan onto wire rack to cool. Sprinkle liberally with powdered sugar.
