Ingredients

2 sticks softened butter

1 cup white sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 cup oil

1 cup crushed corn flakes

½ cup coconut

2½ cups flour

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

½ cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream butter, oil and sugars. Add egg and mix well. Add remainder of ingredients and beat well. Cover and chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight until batter is easy to handle. Drop by heaping tsp. on cookie sheet and press with fork.

Bake 12-15 minutes in 350 oven. Remove and sprinkle lightly with sugar. Cool on wire rack.
