Ingredients
2 cups uncooked macaroni
2 cups corn flakes or 1/2 pkg corn flake crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
3 tbs chopped onion
1 1/4 cup cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup milk
1 1/4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese (5 oz)
Preparation
Cook and drain macaroni, set aside.
Mix 2 tbs of melted butter with corn flake crumbs
Place remaining butter and onion in medium saucepan. cook until tender. Stir in soup, milk, and cheese until melted, stirring occassionally. remove from heat.
Place cooled macaroni in buttered casserole dish. Pour hot cheese on top, stir. Sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
