Ingredients
1 cup honey
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup plus 1 Tablespoon oil
3 eggs separated
1 Tablespoon instant coffee and 1/2 cup Sabra Liqueur and enough water to make 1 cup cold black coffee
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 1/2 cups flour
Preparation
Beat egg whites and put aside. Blend egg yolks and oil. Add honey slowly. Add sugar. Add dry ingredients and most of the liquid. Mix well. Add the rest of the coffee. Mix until smooth. Fold the egg whites into the batter.
Put into a greased bunt pan or two loaf pans and bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes.
