Ingredients

-1 Tbsp. of vegetable oil

-3 pounds of baby back ribs, cut into single ribs

Sauce:

-1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce (preferably Kikkoman)

-1/2 cup of white vinegar

-1/2 cup of white sugar

-1 tsp. of sesame seed oil

-1 tsp. of grated ginger

-1 garlic clove, crushed

Preparation

  1. In a medium sized dutch oven heat the vegetable oil. Add the ribs and cook until just browned. Cover with lid and cook for another 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, add all the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl.
  3. Add sauce to put. Stirring occasionally until sauce starts to thicken. Once the sauce has thickened, cook for anther couple of minutes.

Serve with sushi rice.
