Ingredients
Cookie:
1 Cup Unsweetened Butter (2 sticks)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Flour
2 Cups Oatmeal
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
Fudge:
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 Cups Semi-sweet Chocolate
Chips
1/2 Cup Butter (1 stick)
Preparation
Blend together all ingredients for the cookie crust. Pat 2/3 of the mixture in the bottom of a 9" X 13" pan. Reserve the remaining 1/3 mixture.
In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate chips; add butter and sweetened condensed milk, stir til blended. Pour over the oatmeal crust. Crumble the remaiining 1/3 mixture over top of fudge.
Bake 25 minutes in a pre-heated 350 degree oven. Cool in pan on rack. Chill til ready to serve. Cut into 1" - 2" square bars. Bars can be frozen, and need very little time to thaw.
