Ingredients

2 Cups flour

4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

2 tsp sugar

1/2 Cup shortening

2/3 Cup milk

Preparation

  1. Sift dry ingredients
  2. Fold in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
  3. Add milk
  4. Use rolling pin and roll dough to 1/2 thick
  5. Cut out biscuits

Bake @ 450 for 10-12 minutes
