Ingredients
2 Cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp sugar
1/2 Cup shortening
2/3 Cup milk
Preparation
- Sift dry ingredients
- Fold in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Add milk
- Use rolling pin and roll dough to 1/2 thick
- Cut out biscuits
Bake @ 450 for 10-12 minutes
