Ingredients
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Light Corn Syrup
1.25 Tablespoons Vanilla
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Milk
1 cup Butter
Preparation
*2 cups Half & Half may be used in place of the milk and heavy cream.
Combine sugar, corn syrup, cream, milk, and butter.
Cook slowly, stirring occasionally to firm ball stage (248 degrees). Then remove from heat.
Add vanilla. Pour onto greased 8" x 8" x 2" pan. Let cool.
Cut squares when cool and wrap each square with wax paper.
If desired add 1/2 cup chopped pecans with the vanilla.
