Ingredients
3# plus pot roast
Can of tomato paste
1 cup chicken broth
2 carrots diced small
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoons Better than Beef Boullion
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cornstarch
Preparation
Combine all ingredients but the cornstarch. Brown the roast well and place in Dutch oven. Pour combined ingredients over and cover tightly. Bake in 325 oven for at least 3 hours–until the meat almost falls apart. Remove beef and keep warm Combine the cornstarch with 1/2 cup of cold water and stir into pot. It will make a perfect gravy almost immediately.
