Ingredients

2 ounces white chocolate (1/3 cup)

1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon brown sugar

Preparation

Heat chocolate, turmeric, cinnamon, and salt in a small saucepan over medium, stirring constantly with a heatproof spatula, until a thick, golden paste forms, about 5 minutes.

Add milk slowly, whisking until smooth. Add brown sugar; whisk until frothy, 1 minute more. Serve immediately, or pour into a thermos.
