Ingredients

1 ham bone with some ham left on it

1 bag dried white beans

1 gallon water

3 cups frozen or fresh chopped carrots

2 Tablespoons minced garlic

1 to 1 1/2 cups pureed pumpkin

Garlic and herb seasoning

chili powder

salt

pepper

lemon juice

Preparation

Cook beans in crock pot on low in water with ham bone for 12 hours. When you return from work, add carrots, garlic, and pureed pumpkin. Season to taste using spices. Serve warm with garlic bread, hard apple cider, a green salad, and Autumn Ambrosia salad. YUM!
