Ingredients

1 1/2 cups raw cashews

1 cup raw blanched almonds

1 medium golden delicious apple, peeled, cored, and sliced

1/2 teaspooon cinnamon (optional)

Preparation

Grind the cashews and almonds into a powdered meal in a Vita-Mix or other powerful blender, then add the apple slices and blend again. Place in a bowl and mix in cinnamon, if desired. Spread in a 9 X 9 inch baking dish and bake in a 200 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. For a softer cheese, to use as a spread for apple or banana slices, refrigerate without baking.

If desired, spread Winter Warm Fruit Salad on top of baked or chilled “cheese”. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.
