Ingredients

4lbs sweet potatoes,peeled and chopped into 2" pieces

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/3 cup orange juice

1/4 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 cup bourbon

1/3 cup of chopped pecans

Preparation

Preheat oven 350. Butter round Corning ware dish (not a pan) Boil sweet potatoes until tender about 15 minutes. Drain. Add butter, orange juice, brown sugar, spice, and bourbon in bowl and beat with mixer until creamy smooth. Pour mixture into dish and sprinkle Pecans on top. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until lightly browned.
