Ingredients
2.5 # tenderloin
3 T soy sauce
3 T maple syrup
2 lg. minced shallots
2 t curry powder
2 T olive oil
salt
Preparation
In a glass dish, mix soy sauce, syrup, shallots and curry powder. Add beef and coat well. Heat oven to 500 degrees. In an oven proof skillet, heat olive oil until smoking, Add beef and brown both sides, salt and cook over moderate heat until brown. (15 minutes) Transfer skillet to oven.
