Ingredients

6 cups flour

4 tbsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup molasses

1 1/2 c sugar

1/4 c butter

1/4 c lemon juice

1 egg

1/4 c honey

Icing

4 egg whites 5 cups icing sugar

Preparation

Heat honey, molasses, sugar and butter. Add lemon juice and cool. Add lightly beaten egg. Sift dry. Add flour mix to wet. Add a little water if necessary. Butter and flour large cookie sheet. Roll dough onto cookie sheet into even layer. Bake 325-350 for 25-30 mins. Cut immediately.
