Ingredients
10 medium/large potatoes, peeled
1/2 pint sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic powder (or 3-4 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
Preparation
- In a large pot, boil potatoes until tender (they’re done when a fork is easily inserted).
- Drain off water. In a large casserole dish, mash the potatoes and add sour cream, cream cheese, onion, and garlic (more onion and garlic may be added to suit your tastes).
- Bake the potatoes, covered, at 350 until hot, or simply heat in the microwave.
- Serve immediately.
You may also make this dish a few days ahead of time. Make ahead directions: -Follow steps 1-2 -Cover and refrigerate -When you’re ready to serve them, bake the potatoes in the casserole dish, covered, at 350 for about 1/2 hour until hot -Serve immediately
