Ingredients
3-4 onion, into eights
1 teaspoon brown mustard seeds
a few whole garlic clovers
1 teapoon fresh thyme
6 green garlic heads
6 lamb shanks, trimmed
Preparation
Saute the first 5 ingredients until soft in baking dish. Palace over top of onions and bake loosely covered with foil in 160 C oven for 2 1/2hours.
Aftr 1 1/2 hours, check if the onions are stuck and if so add a little water or white wine.
Once cooked, remove shanks and can stir in some prepared mustard and 1 tablespoon parsley
