Ingredients

2 Chicken breasts

1 Durian (from Asian market or store)

Salt

Pepper

Olive Oil

Garlic

Preparation

Purchase a durian (aka “stinky fruit”) from the local Asian market. These are usually sold frozen, so you may need to thaw overnight. Alternatively, we’ve used a microwave to thaw and it worked just fine. Use your fingers to open one of the pockets and remove the tasty Durian fruit. Be careful of its spikes!

Baste the chicken breasts in garlic, olive oil, salt. Break the durian into pieces and coat the chicken. Finally, add cracked pepper.

Bake or grill.
