Ingredients

1 T yeast

2 T sugar

1 1/2 warm water

1 tsp salt

3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl combine yeast, sugar, and warm water. Once combined, add liquid to the dry ingredients and make sticky dough. Knead for 3 minutes, then let dough rest for 10 a buttered bowl. Roll into a rectangle. Melt one stick of butter or margarine in jely-roll pan at 350. Cut dough in strips and place in pan with the melted butter. Let each strip of dough be coated in butter. Sprinkle with garlic slat and parmesan cheese. Let rise for 10 minutes. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
