Ingredients

2 cans (16 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup chicken broth

4 to 6 cloves of garlic, chopped

salt to taste

optional spices:

1/2 teaspoon cumin

dash cayenne

juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

Put all ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for 30 minutes over medium low heat. Serve with salad and broun rice.
