Ingredients
To a large pot add:
1 full cup of sliced carrots
1 medium turnip diced
3 garlic cloves or 3 teaspoons minced garlic
4 full cups of diced cabbage
1 (16oz) bag of frozen green beans
2 pkgs (10 oz) frozen Baby Lima Beans
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
1/2 of a small can of tomato paste
2 tsp dried basil
2 to 3 tsp dried oregano
2 cans beef broth + 2 cans of water
4 beef cubes and 4 cups water
If more broth is needed to cover vegetables add more beef cubes and water.
Preparation
Bring everything to a boil and simmer for ½ hour or until carrots and turnips are tender.
