Ingredients

1 lb ground chuck or lean ground beef

1 garlic clove, pressed

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste

12 ounces v-8 vegetable juice

6-8 ounces egg noodles, cooked

1 bunch green onion, chopped

1 cup sour cream

6 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed

2 cups cheddar cheese, finely shredded

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Brown meat; drain and stir in garlic, salt, pepper and V-8 juice.

Simmer on low for 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine cooked noodles, chopped onions, sour cream and cream cheese, mixing well.

Grease a 2 quart casserole dish and place noodle mixture in the bottom of the casserole.

Top noodle mixture with the meat mixture.

Cover meat with all of the grated cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes.
