Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoon wasabi powder
water
1 cup mayonaise
2 pounds regular ground beef
3/4 cups chopped water cestnuts
1/4 tespoon cayenne pepper
2 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 purchased bread crumbs
1 egg, slighly beaten
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried basil
10 stips cooked bacon
1/2 pound sliced co-jack cheese
3/4 cup sliced green onions.
Crusty buns.
Preparation
Prepare grill to med-med high Combine wasabi powder with enough water to form a paste. Mix wtih the mayonaise. Refrigerate til ready to use. Place next 10 ingrediants in large bowl and mix with hands til well combined. Shape into 5 equal size burgers.
Grill over med heat till desired doneness is reached.
Place cheese over burgers during last 2 minutes to melt. Place 2 stips bacon over each burger. Sprinkle with some green onions. Spread some of the wasabi mayonaise on top of each bun. Serve, passing additonal wasabi mayonaise for dipping.
