Ingredients
12 oz fusilli ro ratini pasta
1 lb bunch swiss chard
1 slice bacon, cut in strips
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 t crushed red pepper
1 can (15-19oz) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
2 T fresh lemon juice
Preparation
Prepare pasta. Reserve 1/4 c of cooking water. Cut ribs and stems from chard and cut all into pieces. Rinse and dry. Cook bacon and remove. Add garlic, pepper adn cook 30 seconds. Add chard, beans, and slat to taste. Cover and cook 2 min. Uncover and cook 5 min until all are tender. Stir chard mix and lemon juice into pasta, add reserved water if it seems dry.
