oz. unsweetened chocolate

cup margarine or butter

cups sugar

teaspoons vanilla

eggs

cup all purpose flour

1/4

teaspoon salt

1/2

cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

tablespoon margarine or butter

Preparation

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and 1/2 cup margarine, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes or until slightly cooled.

In medium bowl, combine sugar, vanilla and eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt and chocolate mixture; blend well. Spread in greased pan.

Bake at 350°F. for 30 to 38 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.

In small saucepan, melt glaze ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled brownies. Let stand until set. Cut into bars.
