Ingredients
1 1/2 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
2/3 c whole milk
2 T light corn syrup
pinch salt
1 T butter
1/2 t vanilla extract
Preparation
In a deep saucepan combine the sugar, cocoa, milk, and syrup. Stir over medium heat. Once it is boiling, stop stirring and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and place in a pan filled with cold water. Add butter and vanilla. When it is somewhat cooled, stir/beat briskly for a minute or two. Refrigerate until needed.
