Ingredients
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
1 ripe pear, cored and chopped
1 cup diced pineapple
1 cup seedless grapes
2 ribs celery, chopped
1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds, walnuts or pecans
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Orange Mayonnaise Dressing:
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
zest of one orange
Preparation
Being the orange juice to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered until the juice is reduced to about 2 tablespoons of thick syrup. Combine with mayonnaise, sour cream and orange zest and mix well.
Combine all fruit salad ingredients and toss with Orange Mayonnaise Dressing. Serve chilled.
