Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

3 egg yolks beaten

4 tsp lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon)

rind of not quite 1/2 lemon

Vanilla wafers or graham cracker crumbs

Preparation

Boil in top of double boiler until thick.

Add 2 beaten egg whites and 1 cup cream beaten. Line refrigerator tray with vanilla wafers or graham cracker crumbs. Place in freezer compartment. Serves about 8.
