Ingredients

3 tablespoon chicken base

2 Qts water

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 ea cut up chicken 8pc

3 cups flour

salt&pepper to taste

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

Preparation

In a large 4qt pot combine first five ingredients.Heat just enough to desolve spices.Let cool and place chicken in brine for at least 8 hours.For best result let brine for 24 hours.Mix final ingredients in a 2 gallon plastic bag. Remove chicken from brine and let drain.Using your favorite frying pan heat two inches of vegtable oil to 350 degrees.My favorite pan is a 14" cast iron skillet. Fry chicken on both side 8 to 10minutes until golden brown.Enjoy!
