Ingredients
Morels (fresh)
Butter
Salt
Flour
Salted water
Preparation
-Fill a large bowl or sink with water just warm enough to dissolve salt. -Add 1 to 2 cups salt to water and dissolve -Brush dirt off morels and trim stems -Add morels to water and soak briefly. Ideally, this should drive any bugs from the crevices. Do not leave morels long enough to become waterlogged -Remove morels from water and slice in half -Melt butter in large pan for frying -Dredge halved morels in lightly salted flour -Fry in butter until browned, remove to paper towel-lined plate -Serve hot
