Ingredients
2 x 200g packs 2 tuna steaks
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2cm piece fresh root ginger, peeled & grated
250g pack fine egg noodles, cooked & cooled
20g pack fresh coriander, chopped
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted
Preparation
Place the tuna in a shallow dish with the sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar & ginger. Mix well & leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
Preheat the grill or BBQ to a moderate setting, cook for 5-6 minutes each side. Alternatively, pan-fry for 3-4 minutes each side, or to taste.
Mix together the cooked noodles, coriander & sesame seeds. Serve the tuna on a bed of the noodles, & drizzle with a little extra soy sauce & sesame oil if desired.
