Ingredients
2 12 oz. packages fresh cranberries
1 1/2 C. walnuts
juice of 1/2 lemon
juice of 3 tangerines
zest of 2 tangerines
3/4 C. sugar (more or less to taste)
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/8 t. nutmeg (or just a pinch if freshly grated)
Preparation
Get the walnuts and cranberries finely chopped, weather by hand or with a food processor. If you use a food processor, do the cranberries in smaller batches so they can circulate, and process them separately from the walnuts.
Dump cranberries and walnuts together in a large bowl. Add the lemon juice,zest the tangerines and then add their juice. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve it. Test to see if the sweetness is to your liking and adjust accordingly. Now add the spices and stir some more. That’s it! Enjoy.
