Ingredients

8 thick slices of bread - 8 oz softened cr cheese - 6 tbl sugar

divided - 2 tsp vanilla - 8 tbl chopped pecans - 7 lg eggs - 1 cup milk - 1 cup crushed corn flakes - 1/2 tsp nutmeg -

Preparation

combine cr cheese, vanilla, pecans & 2 tbl sugar - set SIDE - blend eggs, milk, nutmeg & 4 tbl sugar - set aside - cut through top & along one side of ea bread slice - spread a rounded tbl of cr cheese filling inside ea pocket - dip bread pockets into egg/milk mix - press into cornflakes - coat both sides - cook until golden on ea side -serve warm - (bread may be stuffed, wrapped & frozen)
