Ingredients
6 Large Granny Smith Apples, peeled cored and sliced
2 Tbsp flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp butter
Preparation
Prepare two pie crusts or purchase ready made.
Mix dry ingredients together. Put 1/2 mixture on bottom of crust.
Add apples
Cut butter into small pieces and place on top between apples
Place lattice crust on top.
Pour cream into pie, coating crust for nice finish
Bake 400 for 15 minutes Reduce temperature to 350 and bake for one hour.
Serve hot with or without ice cream
Refrigerate any left overs.
