Ingredients

2 ounces, Cognac

1/2 to 1 ounce, maraschino liqueur

1 ounce, of Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)

a dash of fresh lemon juice

1 ounce, Champagne (or more)

orange twist

Preparation

In a tall shaker filled with ice, shake all ingredients, except the Champagne.

Strain the shaker contents, pouring mixture into a cold martini glass. Top by filling the glass to the brim with Champagne. Garnish with an orange twist.
