Ingredients
4-racks (1 1/4 pounds) of baby back ribs
1 tablespoon McCormick’s special seasoning
4 cups water
1/4 cup Frank R’s barbecue sauce (recipe follows)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Remove extraneous skin from rack of ribs. Rub with special seasoning.
Place in a roasting pan with water and 1/4 cup of Frank R’s barbecue sauce. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Roast for 4 hours.
Remove ribs from pan; brush with additional barbecue sauce.
Place ribs on a charcoal or gas grill. Turn as they finish cooking, about 4 to 5 minutes per side per rack, making sure they don’t burn. Brush with additional sauce. Remove from grill. Serve with additional sauce on the side.
Servings: 4 to 6.
Note: When ribs are removed from the oven, they can be refrigerated for as long as 24 hours, then finished on the grill.
