Ingredients

3 large egg whites

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped or 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven 225°F.

Whip egg whites until very stiff. Gradually add sugar. Add vanilla. Fold in pecans or chocolate chips.

Spoon onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 2 hours.
