Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup shortening
2/3-3/4 cups very hot water
Preparation
Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Mix in the shortening. Making a coarse, even meal. mix in 2/3 cup water and knead for two minutes. If dry add more water. Cover and let dough rest for 20 minutes. heat skillet to medium-high heat. Cook in a hot dry skillet.
