Ingredients

White fish (1lb, skinless, boneless, cut into 1/2" pieces)

Potatoes (4, cooked and diced)

Butter or olive oil (2 tbsp)

Onion (1/3 cup minced)

Carrot (3 medium, diced)

Celery (2 stalks, diced)

Fish or chicken broth (4 cups)

Turmeric (1/2 tsp)

Garlic powder (1/2 tsp)

Black pepper (1/2 tsp)

Salt to taste

Preparation

Saute onions, carrots, and celery in oil or butter for 4 minutes. Stir in stock, turmeric, black pepper, and garlic. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in potatoes and fish, cook until fish is done (usually ~5-10 minutes).
