Ingredients

4 green onions, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 piece (1 inch or longer) ginger

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp Thai chili sauce

2 tsp Thai fish sauce or to taste

1/2 tsp pepper

4 hamburger buns, toasted

Mango chutney optional

Preparation

Prepare grill or briler for high heat. Combine ground chuck, onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, chili sauce, fish sauce and pepper in large bowl. Cover; marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.

Form meat mixture into patties. Grill or broil, turning once, until desired doneness is reached, or for medium rare, about 8 min. Place each burger on bun bottom; top with chutney and bun top.
