Ingredients
12 to 14 plum tomatoes
6-8 jalapeno peppers
4-5 serrano peppers
1 pablano pepper
2-3 long hot peppers or hungarian hot peppers
1 habanero pepper (optional of course)
3-4 cloves of garlic
6 green onions
2 pkgs. Salsa seasoning mix
juice of 1 lime
Preparation
First, wash all veggies well. Remove all stems. To reduce the heat of the salsa, slice each pepper open and remove the seeds and interior flesh leaving just the “wall” of the pepper. Since, I love it HOT though…I typically leave it all in. Hand chop and dice the plum tomatoes, set aside in large container. Everything else (peppers, onions, garlic) gets “chopped” in a food processor. Next, combine ALL ingrediets in large container. Stir in Salsa seasoning mix and lime juice. Refrigerate overnight. Enjoy!
