Ingredients

4 dried figs

2 T olive oil

1 T balsamic vinegar

salt and pepper

12 slices baguette - toasted to crostini

2 T crumbled blue cheese

Preparation

Trim tough stems from figs. Slice each fig lengthwise into 3 slices and place into shallow dish.

Mix oil and balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper. Pour over figs and marinate 5 min or 1 day.

Place crostini slices on bake sheet. Top each with fig, reserving oil and vinegar. Top with cheese. Broil 1 - 2 min until chees melts. Serve with drizzled with reserved oil and vinegar.
